We love to hear from our guests.  Following are reviews as received from our guests.

My husband chose Sutton’s for his birthday dinner. Because of the delicious food, amazing music, and relaxed vibe, it was a perfect September evening with our family on the patio. Even our six-year-old stayed happy. Our attentive server’s excellent recommendations and great sense of humor helped make our evening complete as we enjoyed our drinks, calamari, pasta, and steaks. When the singer/guitarist played at least four of my birthday boy’s favorite songs, if was as though he’d read our minds! Unforgettable night! – Beth McKenzie Adams

My husband and I have been trying to watch our diets. Sutton’s went above and beyond, offering us fresh spinach, mushrooms, and other delicious veggies on our flat-bread pizza! It’s a huge bonus to have fresh ingredients available. The staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. We love Wine-Down Wednesdays! – Rachael Vanhoose

Since both my parents are Italian (in fact my father was born just outside Naples) I grew up on authentic Italian food and I am very particular about Italian restaurants. We have been at Sutton’s many times and every time we walk in it’s like walking into a good friend’s home for dinner. It’s a great place to watch a game or for that special night out…you won’t be disappointed! The food is authentic, the service is great, the drinks flow, and as Gordon says…the food is “always fresh…never frozen”  - Tony DeLucia

I have many Sutton’s stories to share since Troy and I are regulars there, but the most meaningful has to be the night before Thanksgiving 2010. I had to have a dessert for Thanksgiving dinner at the IN-LAWS!!! The wonderful cook I am, I called Gordon (owner of Sutton’s) immediately! And more interesting, this phone call was made a…t about 12a.m. due to I work nights. “Gordon, I need a favor”…and that was an understatement. Needless to say, Gordon came through with some spectacular Sutton’s bread pudding at about 1a.m. in the morning and I and my delicious homemade bread pudding (lied like a dog to them) are golden in the eyes of the in-laws. Thanks for saving me Gordon! I just hope they don’t ask for the recipe! lol – Brookelyn (last name kept secret in case the in-laws are looking).

Gordon, the owner, out does himself daily. Fresh ingredients, superior service, and prices that are affordable. You cannot beat the value. No other restaurant comes close to Sutton’s. – John Goins

Awesome Food, Awesome Service. I take all my friends to Sutton’s! The Owner is a great guy and the food is never short of amazing. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! – Google user

Best experience we have ever had at dinner. When my family goes out, it is rare that all 9 of us enjoy the restaurant. We will go to suttons time and time again. Even if it is a 300 mile drive from Michigan! – Google user

Quickly becoming one of my favorites. Been here several times, with friends and on dates, can’t even think of a complaint. Best experience was after Keeneland. Very crowded, but quick service, food was prepared perfect, no wait on drinks, and 4 of us ate well with several drinks and an app for less than $90. That included 2 ppl getting prime rib, which is my favorite cut of meat so I’m picky, and I am anxious to have it again. Waitress was chatty, but I personally like that. Made us feel very welcome, and enjoyed her job. Owner also came by, but didn’t make it feel like he was doing it out of obligation. Support local, avoid chains… – Google user

The Pasta is never boring! Bring on the Fra Diavolo! We love it! The scallops are perfect and flavor of the dish is so unique. Great staff, great food, great prices. – Google user

My girlfiends and I love Wine Down Wednesdays! 1/2 price wine! The white pizza is to DIE for…in fact, everything I’ve tried here is phenomenal. Highly recommend! – Google user

My husband, son, and I visited Sutton’s with my parents on a Sunday afternoon. We all had the pizza. It was delicious! By far, it’s one of the best pizzas in Lexington. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and explained the menu well. I will definitely be returning to Sutton’s! – Google user

Best italian beef with a spicy sauce in town. – Google user

I love Sutton’s. The food is always good and the wine selection is fantastic.- Google user

Best people and food in Lexington. – Google user

Food is always terrific and the staff is so nice. Talk about a people pleasing bunch.  – Shaun Kimberly Thompson

Flatbread pizza – There is no better pizza in town if you are looking for fresh ingredients and over the top taste.  – Urban Spoon user

I love this restaurant! You can’t beat $6 pizza’s at happy hour, half off bottles of wine on Wednesday, and the amazing mushroom app’s! The staff is very friendly, and management is always willing to go the extra mole!  – Racheal Vanhoose

5 of us ate at Sutton’s about a month ago, and we were all pleased with the service and food. Our waitress was very good, had lots of personality, and made our meal fun. Wine bottles were half price which is always appreciated. All our appetizers, salads, and entrees were quite good. The owner stopped by to see how we were doing, and he was quite congenial. We will go back.  – Urban Spoon user

I have eaten here a handful of times now and it has never disappointed, the service has always been fantastic and each dish I have tried has been 1. Huge and 2. Delicious!  I have even gone two days in a row and all the servers came over to say hey again, our kids always get excited when we say we are going to Suttons! – Nikki H.

Dropped in for lunch with a group of friends.  We were seated quickly and our waitress came by to tell us about the menu and take our orders.  Service was great and the pizza’s and salads were very tasty.  They make their dressing in house and they are very good.  Was not there during a game, but I would suggest the place for a good meal and great service.  Easy to get in and out for lunch. – Carmen C.

Awesome Italian fare and friendly pub-like atmosphere make Sutton’s a local favorite.  Food is delicious, and portions are large.  Yum! – Dean J.

One of favorite places in Lexington. Always stop by for dinner when I’m in town. The food is great, and I have tried at least half of the menu. The pastas have always been a good choice as well as the pizza. The appetizers are delicious too. The serving sizes are huge, and everything is well priced.  Service has always been wonderful! First time a friend and I went, we had Bryce as our server and now every time we go, we have to sit in his section – we even made the manager switch his sections to be on the patio. If you get the chance to sit on the patio, you should. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy the good weather during the summer.  Wine Down Wednesdays are a favorite of mine – they have half price bottles of wine and include a good local variety including Jean Farris! If you don’t finish the bottle, they’ll re-cork it and bag it up for you to take home. – Maggie B.
